Proudly Introducing Our 2013 Musical Line-Up
This year’s Music For Life ~ Rock n’ Run brings three talented and entertaining bands to the Westminster area!
We’ll be kicking things off with the Jason Spooner Band, from Portland, Maine. Performer Magazine recently commented that, “Spooner navigates between folk, jazz, pop, funk and R&B – sometimes, in the course of a single song. His soulful vocals tackle lyrics about death, danger and the desire to escape, but despite the meatiness of the themes, the songs refuse to wallow in melodrama.”
Our second act, Take Two, from Lowell, Massachusetts and labeled as “Fine Acoustic Entertainment” according to their website, is an acoustic duo who play a combination of incredible cover and original music. “It only takes two! And for Mike Gacek (lead vocals and guitar) and Ken Lemire (guitar and backing vocals), it only takes two to create a musical powerhouse.” - Songwriter’s Corner.
And finally, closing out the evening, will be Woodford Way – a five piece band from western Massachusetts who has been dubbed as a folk, jazz and blues influenced band who has created quite a stir among music enthusiasts in the Berkshires. “Woodford Way is full of authenticity and they are a prime example of what the independent music community is capable of producing” – Brattleboro Reformer.
Registration Deadline…
Register for the 5K Run/Walk by Monday, April 15th to guarantee your 2013 Rock n’ Run tech shirt! If you sign up for the 5K PLUS Concert by April 15th, you will also be entitled to ALL of the cool stuff in our VIP Swag Bag: including a commemorative 2013 Rock n’ Run/Wachusett Brewery pint glass, a free Wachusett brew at the concert, AND an invitation to an exclusive Wachusett Brewery VIP event! Stay tuned for more information on this.
After April 15th the registration fees are as follows:
- Still only $15 - 5K Race only but with limited-sized shirts available on a first- come, first-served basis (Hint: pick up your bib# early!)
- Still only $25 - 5K Race Plus Concert but with limited shirts and VIP Swag, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 2013 Music For Life ~ Rock n’ Run will be held Saturday, May 11th at the Wachusett Village Inn in Westminster, MA. This year’s event will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The run/walk will begin at 2:30, followed by a concert in the courtyard from 4:00 - 9:30.

Who’s Ready to Rock N’ Run today!?
So who’s ready to Rock n’ Run today!? We’re all so excited that the day has finally come for our annual Music For Life event.
As promised, we’d like to give you a little sneak-peak as to what you’ll be getting as part of your registration this year.
All runners and walkers will be getting the super cool athletic shirts (photos 1 & 2 below). As an added bonus, everyone who has registered for the race and concert will get getting a Music For Life drawstring bag loaded with some goodies from the our awesome sponsors (photo 3 below).
It’s sure to be an incredible day, as the sun is shining and the forecast looks great. We hope you enjoy what we’ve put together for you this year!

Howdy Rock n’ Runners!
Our 2012 event is only a couple of days away…and look what just came in! - During Saturday’s 5K road race, keep an out for our Kokopelli signs to direct your way!

This is just one of the gifts you’ll receive from us when you sign up for the 5K plus concert - a 17 oz. color changing stadium cup! It will turn green with any cold liquid, but we highly recommend filling it with an ice-cold Wachusett brew!
